And as soon as he rang the bell a little child ran to him jumping and hugging him.
“Papa!”
The little girl said, which made him smile widely and look with a bit of pity at her.
“Aw Clem, ma’ sweet girl, I'm so sorry for makin’ ya wait, I had quite a…pain of a client, who took care of ya? I must thank ‘em”
Clementine, the little girl pointed at the tall figure close to them, oh, this man is…?
“Teach’ Genti spent aaaall this time with me, he’s the best!”
She said on her father’s arms with a big smile and waving her arms on her side, up and down. His glare directed to the man next to him. A tall, slim and, quite well dressed man might say, stood next to them with a slight and soft smile.

Boothill swears up and down that he’s got nothing to do with this phony footage, and gets his chance to redeem himself when Robin shows up, desperately in need of his help. However, it seems that there's more than just a silly deepfake placing obstacles in the way of their growing relationship. As the two (+Argenti) embark on a harrowing journey, they'll have to explore the deepest, hidden corners of their hearts to restore what's been broken between them. And also save Sunday from tax hell. As you do.
This is a work that started as a shitpost project but got oddly serious and genuinely heartfelt towards the middle. Please enjoy. I know I've enjoyed writing it.

He couldn’t feel his face, not exactly, but he could tell it was flushed and sweaty. Quickly, he flicked his night vision on, and oh Aeons.
Argenti’s usually well kept hair was a complete and utter mess, and the armor he wore so proudly was crooked and dirty. His eyes seemed puffy from the tears as he continued sobbing and yep, there was the smell of alcohol in the air instead of fresh roses.
“Argenti. Are ya drunk?” Boothill asked, despite not really needing an answer. Argenti stared at him like he couldn’t understand the question, so he repeated it. “Just yes or no. Are ya drunk?”

Argenti drinks himself into a sobbing stupor, and it's up to Boothill to solve it...and figure out what, exactly, caused the strictly abstinent knight to get drunk. Turns out, the answer might just involve himself...

Boothill entered the thick woodland, instantly noticing the lack of activity from both the forest and his partner. It had been a weirdly long time since the knight ventured off into the forest of this planet after they had agreed to part ways. Before he went to find the other, though, the locals warned him of captivating mushrooms, not explaining why, just that he should run if he sees them. Boothill shrugged off the odd behavior. He thought it was possible they were just making up tall tales but…what if Argenti did run into some sort of trouble in these woods?
It didn’t take long before he came across a familiar figure in the dark woods. He rushed forward, certain that it was Argenti..until he saw that the thing was covered in mushrooms.

A new planet, meant to be saved by Argenti and Boothill due to a strange growth hurting the villagers. When Argenti splits off on his own, though, he greatly underestimates the power of the woods...and he's not sure if he can be saved.

She walks a little closer to the front desk. After a moment of deliberation - and wondering if she wants to kill this curious cat - she goes on her tiptoes to try and peek over at the elusive, allegedly small guy.
Before she can even see a glimpse of what he may be doing behind the counter, the man meets her half-way - probably closer than he meant to be. A wide grin was already on his face, their faces almost nose-to-nose with Robin seeing a mouth full of sharp, shark-esque teeth.
“Hey there, princess.” He greets with a country drawl, face utterly unbothered at their proximity.
