Summary
Set in Season 4, with flash backs.
When Gibbs suddenly leaves the team, Tony is team leader. Ziva and him become closer while the team investigates several cases. Tony helps Ziva become more familiar with American life, while she teaches him to play piano, and a tiny bit of Hebrew. Jenny starts her own investigation and involves Tony. Tony struggles to help Ziva when she is involved in a high profile bombing. Ziva discovers her father had her followed.
Tony and Ziva’s connection is redetermined when Gibbs returns to NCIS, and again when Tony falls in love with Jeanne Benoit.Series

Summary
This is a NCIS story with mentions of some of the BAU Characters though it mainly focuses on the events of the last episode of season two where Kate is assassinated by Ari Haswari. There is a bit of a time travel aspect to the story and it started in the episode Boxed In in season three with a different outcome. In this story Tony is a female, Antonia 'Toni' DiNozzo, and Ziva is male, Ziv.
This isn't edited and as usual the first chapter is the roll results and the second is the story.Series

Ziva's probably waking up wondering what happened, and still wondering. Maybe her father rants at her, about how the reason she was sent so far of was so that she'd be out of sight, out of mind, and not embarrass him. Which she's now failed to do. (Maybe her idiom mixups aren't just limited to English?) I kind of doubt that her skills and behavioral issues got worse just after joining the team. Ignoring the 'writers creating drama' bit, only so much can be explained by her intentionally flubbing things. Like here. That ricochet could just as easily hit her instead.
Her having just as bad skills applied to her profiling skills... that would probably be pretty hilarious. Kate surviving because Ziva profiled her wrong... And making her not see 'kind eyes', or whatever mental hoops end up being in that changed series of events. Because, well, it wouldn't just be Kate's profile being wrong... GuestSeries
