Summary
The war has taken everything from Harry Dresden—his humanity, his freedom, and perhaps even his soul. Turned into a vampire by Paolo Ortega, Harry appeared to turn on every oath, wielding dark power and striking a questionable allegiance with a Fallen angel.
Conscripted into a losing war after the destruction of the White Council, Molly Carpenter has been fighting back in her own way, fleeing to the only resistance left: the Fellowship of St. Giles. Armed with only her wits and a modest amount of magic, she's outmatched when she comes face-to-face with Harry Dresden. A desperate flight for her life turns into a chase, and she's run down.
But Harry doesn't kill her. He doesn't even touch her...at first. She's being kidnapped and held as leverage against the one man who might end his reign of terror. It should be simple, right? Survive until the Knights come.
Except, the truth runs even deeper than she can imagine. Molly is caught up in a dark web of blood and petty power games, forcing her to face the most difficult choice of her life. She has to place her trust in the very man who pulled her from the fray if she wants to keep her life--and sanity--intact.
Deviates at the end of Death Masks.

Summary
As usual, it all starts with Harry having a horrible day. A Red Court Duke is out to get his blood and he can’t even fight the guy because he fails to secure a second for the duel. While trying to weasel out of getting killed by the Archive for breaking the rules, Harry finds that Ortega is more agreeable than he thought. From desperation, he strikes a deal with him.
Harry thinks he can apply the ancient logic of divide and conquer to weaken the Red Court from the inside. Except Ortega is nothing like he expected and Harry gets a little more than he bargained for, with a side order of learning how to be polite.
Meanwhile, Paolo Ortega is attempting to take care of the wizard-shaped problem that has gotten out of hand. He’s intrigued by the loyal, violent fool who started it all, but the war is inconvenient because he hasn’t planned it for at least another ten years.
He’s more than ready to kill Dresden, except this guy who tends to set things on fire is surprisingly tolerable. So he proposes an alternative, and ends up with way more than a tasty snack.
He might even accidentally learn what a healthy relationship looks like.

Summary
By the time Ebenezar hears about Lord Raith and his new "Lady LeFay," him and his daughter aren't exactly on speaking terms. When a personal invitation signed by Raith and Margaret does reach him, Ebenezer has no recourse but to accept.
Unfortunately, miscommunication doesn't help deal with monsters. The monsters don't help, either.
“Any allergies, Sire?” a servant asked from behind Ebenezar.
He ignored it. Arianna did not.
“You know; I spent a millennia wondering why humans kept kneeling over only trying to eat. Before Christ, of course. And didn’t he just have the right idea in getting more of his flock to drink blood.”

Summary
John is, as far as anyone knows, dead, along with his right hand Nathan Hendricks, and as such, someone new has to take over. This new guy takes an immediate interest in Johnny's Wizard, and decides to take him for himself by way of a magical device retrieved from one of Harry's many enemies.
Harry takes objection to this, of course, and with the help of his friends (who have been treating him rather a lot like some depressed maiden recently, much to his chagrin) plots how to escape this hold, and, ultimately, discover the big plot behind his capture to begin with. Along the way, though, he also begins to discover emotions for someone that he didn't quite expect.
