Her gaze meets the Dragon’s, and she holds his eyes. His shake slightly, and she realizes. He saw it too.
Something giddy rises in her chest, he saw it too. She can do that? Show the futures she sees? Or is it because his was so set in stone? Because his choices were almost identical in every branch?
He saw though. He saw, and now..
She wants him. That one. She will save him, will let him save himself. And then she will see if the future really is so set, if fate can’t be twisted to her favor.
This time. If she can save this one, then Arlong will be simple.

Fate is malleable, but only in the hands of someone who knows what they're doing with it. Rosinante doesn’t know the future, but Shyarly does. And she’s tired of being chained down to fate.

Because I don’t know what they are to you, but they are my children.” Doffy stiffened at the declaration. He would have to be blind not to see the tension among some of his executives and his little brother, but they would never harm his queen. “I know what the consequences for that will be. I wonder if you will actually be able to do it this time. Will you be able to look me in the eyes as you kill me? Or will you shoot me in the back of the head like a coward? What will you tell them when they are older, I wonder? Will I be washed away like everyone else? Will you tell them I got what I deserved?”

This is a continuation of my Doffy/Cora kinktober fic poison.Doflamingo has everything he could have ever wanted. His Corazon, his heart, was by his side. They have two healthy children and the world is at his fingertips. Until Rosi asks him to do one thing and his world is upended. He has a choice to make, sometimes an apology is not enough. Especially when you have done so much to break your heart in the past.
