Summary
It's a day that has been long coming, and it's a beautiful one. People have come from all over Exandria, to a spectacularly prepared Whitestone. Flags and banners bearing the city's colors are everywhere: Blue, white, purple and gold. But the white and blue... they're dominant. And they're everywhere. Snowdrops and Forget-Me-Nots... each one a representative of one of the two people that are soon to be married. The snowdrops have been associated with the Champion of Ravens for a couple of years, now. And the Forget-Me-Nots were easily embraced as symbolic for the Lord of Whitestone. Even the sky was proudly displaying the Snowdrop white and Forget-Me-Not blue today.
Percival is preparing for the ceremony in Whitestone Castle, and Vax'ildan in the Gray Hunt Manor. But while Percival paces anxiously before the Heart of Whitestone, waiting for the ceremony to start, Vax'ildan has someone to see before he is wed. A half hour before the Ceremony is to start, he walks the Snowdrop Memorial Trail from the Gray Hunt Manor to the Altar of the Raven. He has been putting this off for so long, but he can't stall any longer. He is Her Champion. He belongs to his Matron. He cannot marry without Her permission...
