Summary
He sits in the peaceful room. It is also cold not temperature but just the fact it is no longer lived in. There were no colors scribbled on the walls from the curious and mischievous hands of young children. There was no warmth in the way the books are messy put back. It was the nursery.
He sees the projects half done of building blocks and toys stories half finished and there are no new toys for the youngest from the oldest or from family smiling warmly. Just the skeleton crew of what a nursery has.
A continuation of day three.

Vax lingered in eternal darkness, performing his duties day after day as he watched the world he was no longer a part of to by.
Percy was alive, aging, but not living. Then, Vax came back and Percy realised that while he had aged, Vax had not. He felt insecure, because for him everything had changed and it showed.
And Vax hated that, because he had changed as well. So, Vax decided it was time for a change of appearance. And maybe even a change of career.

Vex loves Percy. I mean, it’s a simple, straightforward fact. So much of him is reflected in Whitestone that it’s impossible not to love the city too.
She might just love it a bit less right now, though. Apparently something about turning Whitestone into a necromancer's paradise impacted weather patterns (guess it’s hard to raise undead in frozen ground?) - because during Winter’s Crest last year Percival remarked that it was an unusually balmy winter.
This one is not unusually balmy. It’s cold. It’s skin-prickling, hair-frosting, finger-tingling oppressively fucking cold.--

It's a day that has been long coming, and it's a beautiful one. People have come from all over Exandria, to a spectacularly prepared Whitestone. Flags and banners bearing the city's colors are everywhere: Blue, white, purple and gold. But the white and blue... they're dominant. And they're everywhere. Snowdrops and Forget-Me-Nots... each one a representative of one of the two people that are soon to be married. The snowdrops have been associated with the Champion of Ravens for a couple of years, now. And the Forget-Me-Nots were easily embraced as symbolic for the Lord of Whitestone. Even the sky was proudly displaying the Snowdrop white and Forget-Me-Not blue today.
Percival is preparing for the ceremony in Whitestone Castle, and Vax'ildan in the Gray Hunt Manor. But while Percival paces anxiously before the Heart of Whitestone, waiting for the ceremony to start, Vax'ildan has someone to see before he is wed. A half hour before the Ceremony is to start, he walks the Snowdrop Memorial Trail from the Gray Hunt Manor to the Altar of the Raven. He has been putting this off for so long, but he can't stall any longer. He is Her Champion. He belongs to his Matron. He cannot marry without Her permission...
