Every quiet word, every creak of an unoiled joint, every step on the linoleum floors echoed all around the facility. The whirrs of robots turning on and clicks of eyelids opening bounce around within the confines of the dull concrete walls. There was no concept of privacy in K9; even a small whisper would disrupt the still air.
It was starting to drive her insane.
But, there was one thing that made the facility not so bleak and depressing to the sheep.
