Scars from consumers filled in with the Vault's gold, and memories of the ink-black Hall of Flames that had engulfed so many of their friends. Even despite trying to heal, occasionally they still end up falling directly into the mental traps and pitfalls that encompass the trauma that may never truly heal.

Usually, it reminds neb of home, and family, and particularly nebs eldritch Grandfather that lives in nebs attic and thinks a casual jaunt through the Shadows is a fun weekend activity for young children. However, as Teddy wakes up in the Shadows now, unsure of how ne got there, or why ne was there all, the unfamiliar sense of dread at the all-consuming darkness fills nebs limbs. Ne needs to find out why ne's here and get out before anything inthe shadows finds neb.

However, even failed experiments can have some use, and all that's necessary to ensure they continue to perform their job is a small lie of a promise of a better world that they could find.
