Une nouvelle qui n'est pas nécessairement du goût des îliens et plus encore de celui du roi Loth. -

Se déroule après le livre VI.
Arthur est à Rome, terré dans la villa Aconia. Lancelot a pris le pouvoir. Certains seigneurs se sont rangés à ses côtés, d'autres sont restés fidèles à Arthur. Sous les yeux de Lancelot, la Résistance se tapit dans l'ombre. Loin là-bas, en Aquitaine, elle se clame haut et fort. Tout le monde se réorganise. Partout dans le royaume de Logres des associations insolites se nouent. Entre ceux qui sont retenus prisonniers, ceux qui ont rejoint la cause de Lancelot, ceux qui font profil bas et d'autres, qui sont carrément portés disparus, les anciens chevaliers de la Table Ronde sont éparpillés.
Mais quand le Roi décidera de reprendre son royaume, il ne sera pas seul. Il ne sera plus jamais seul. -

Agravaine was the second oldest of the infamous Orkney clan. He was blessedly hardly ever given many jobs and thus was capable of having as much time to himself as he wanted- and as much as his little brothers would allow. He spent most of this time studying and watching the other knights of Camelot in order to figure out their various weaknesses. However, one day the knight Sir Percival of Wales catches his eye in a way that is unexpected.
He is of the family in which he has a sworn blood feud and wholly focused on achieving the Grail. And utterly beautiful.

Exilée volontaire, la jeune femme pensait en avoir fini avec Kaamelott. Mais le destin finit toujours par nous ramener là où se trouve notre place.

Lionel looks at him, head-cocked. He blinks, then looks to the ring. Arthus is there, babbling in Lancelot's ear, who tilts his head down to his King, his eyes wide and adoring. Gawaine is swinging Ragnelle around by the waist, who shrieks and beats his arms in protest.
"Yes," Lionel finally says. "Yes, Bors. I do."
Bors nods. "I think I do too." He gently punches Lionel's arm. "I think we did well."
Lionel snorts softly. He wraps an arm around Bors, pulls him in. "We did, little brother. We did. Now finish your wine. I had the servants put another two skins in your room. In preparation. You never win a bet."

Arthur venait de passer dix années d’esclavage. Dix années à tanner des peaux de chèvre. Dix années à avoir la paix. Mais évidemment ça ne pouvait pas durer. Il fallait qu’on vienne lui casser les burnes.
Ce con d’Alzagar l’a emmené en Aquitaine. Le Duc, aussi bien intentionné soit-il, essaie très lourdement de le convaincre de reprendre un rôle qu’il n’a jamais aimé alors qu’il aimerait simplement se barrer. D’autant qu’une jeune boniche insiste pour les joindre dans leur périple.
Il n’a aucune idée de pourquoi elle tient à le suivre mais il la laisse faire. Elle l’intrigue cette gamine.
Du moment qu’elle le fasse pas chier avec ces histoires de Kaamelott, il peut bien la supporter.

Elowen, la sœur audacieuse et impulsive de Bohort, se sent souvent à l’étroit dans le monde convenu de sa famille. Alors que son frère se montre toujours rigide et respectueux des traditions, Elowen préfère suivre son propre chemin, défiant les attentes et recherchant une vie plus libre. Leur relation complexe se nourrit de respect et de frictions, avec Elowen qui se sent parfois incomprise et Bohort qui veut la protéger, mais la trouve trop imprévisible. Cette histoire suit Elowen alors qu’elle cherche sa place dans un monde où l’aventure et la loyauté familiale s’entrelacent, et où ses choix pourraient bien bouleverser l’équilibre entre elle et son frère.
