“Oh, for real?” Itto looked up at him with raised eyebrows, openly curious. “You got someone regular, then?”
Gorou nodded. “They’re away this time. They thought I should…find someone.”
Itto’s face relaxed into a grin as he straightened up to his full, towering height. “Well hey, I’m honoured. Arataki “numero uno” Itto, officially at your service for the next three days! Or four, or five. It takes as long as it takes, right? Heh.”

“Kazuha!”
He attentively looks down at Huixing calling for him, waving her arms as a small crowd of people huddle behind her by the stairway leading down to the cabins.
When Kazuha sees Huixing’s pale complexion and her teeth tear into the skin of her thumb as she nervously paces back and forth, he quickly makes his way down.
“What is it?”
She stares at him, her face ashen and her mouth opening and closing as though she isn’t sure where to even begin.
“You...that...” Huixing stammers, “that-that oni, with you...he’s...up to no good!”
Though she sounds grim, Kazuha relaxes.
“Up to no good” when applied to Itto was never something the wanderer could justify as bad.

He’s found that when he touches Itto like this, he behaves in a way he rarely gets to see. Itto is a good boy, but he’s stunning like this—all drooly and whiny because Gorou is invading a place he shouldn’t be touching.
“Gorou…” Itto whines softly, hips bucking up. Gorou pointedly puts more of his weight on the oni, pinning him to the chair. Itto could buck him off if he wanted to but he won’t. They both know that.
“What, baby?” Gorou hums, pressing his fingers into Itto’s tongue. “Don’t tell me you’re going to start being bad, hm?”
