Summary
On your first day as a marine you get drunk, have sex with a pirate in a back alley and get hitched to said pirate.
A solid start to your career.
The following morning the asshole refuses to annul and leaves out the window. At first you just ignore the whole situation, but years later when you start climbing the ranks while his bounty grows... you really want to put this stain on your perfect record behind you before it becomes an issue.
You eventually track Buggy down to ask for a divorce, but it fails spectacularly when instead you fight and end up sleeping with him. Thrice. Now you the clown won't leave you alone and it’s getting harder to remember why you want him to sign the dang papers to start with. It's a problem.
