Beth Greene is not dead. Though it is not for a lack of trying.
After eight long years spent in the CRM's grasp, struggling to find reasons to continue surviving, Beth finally finds her reason: Rick and Daryl are alive, and they are closer than she ever could've guessed. Now she must take advantage of her only opportunity to escape and track them down.

He used to hear her words echoing through his head as he destroyed, over and over again. He heard her voice as he ran through the woods, lights and shouting chasing after him-
“Everything alright Rick?”
Rick snaps his gaze back up to her and smiles. “Oh yeah, just had a thought. That’s all.”

Tyler Smith was your average 13 (Almost 14) year old girl. She got good grades, she played softball, her father was a gym teacher, and now she's living through the apocalypse!...Oh yeah, she's living through the undead apocalype now. About year into this whole situtaion, Tyler ends up alone in the woods. Now 15 years old, she is found by a Daryl and Glenn who lets her into their group. They live in a giant prison, which seems strange but at least she's got food now. She didn't care for these people much and honestly was just going to steal and run off. But what happens when she starts taking a liking to them and then a new threat rolls up to take everything away...

There were never any signs of Rick or his son in the ruins of that ill fated bridge or the river below.

Carl is lost along with Rick the day of the bridge explosion and taken by the CRM. Ten years later he shows up outside the Alexandria gates to find that Negan of all people is taking care of his siblings because everyone else- namely, Daryl, Michonne, and Maggie- have seemingly abandoned them.

Daryl leads everyone to safety after the events at Outpost 22, but while taking a break from running from the Commonwealth, they spot a helicopter flying overhead. Despite initial reservations, Daryl goes to investigate.
Injured during an unfortunate incident, the CRM manages to capture him and he is reunited with a friend he thought long dead -
