Summary
The events of Red Flags and Long Nights series reformatted into chronological order at the behest of a friend.
Kaidan Alenko and Eris Shepard meet at a younger age and struggle to work through their crap.
They both grew up on Earth, but that’s where the similarities end. One has a stable family with every privilege afforded to them, and one grew up an orphan in the bombed out Dust Bowl wastelands, but they both become killers due to uncontrollable biotic powers.
And so starts a decade of unrelenting romantic angst.

Summary
After negotiating with Hackett, Kaidan and Eris are at their marital home, the cabin in the orchard. Both are under house arrest and sort of in their pre-Eden Prime life, almost living as if the Reapers aren’t heading through dark space when another curveball is thrown their way.
Tinkering with the idea of a longer time between the Alpha Relay destruction and the Reapers arrival, along with discussions of the Andromeda Project.
Admiring the much broader line of Kaidan’s shoulders, Eris wandered after him, sighing softly at the rippling movement when he reached back for her hand.
In their bedroom, he drew her to him. Her death was filled with so much wasted time and regret it damn near swallowed him whole. With a raw ache in his voice, he said. “I love the way you do that.”
She looked up at him, her fingers twirling gently in his thick, dark chest hair for another moment. His wet hair curled a little at the ends, and she reached up to scrunch it, then traced the line of his jaw with her fingertip. “Do what?”

Summary
Dealing with the repercussions of being cured of a disease he was content to die from is difficult enough. When that cure comes without his knowledge or consent at the hands of the woman he loved makes it all the more so.
During their few snatched months on the SR2, they’d silently communicated with brief glances and subtle touches, expressing far more than words ever could. But he’d stepped aside for her husband, accepting that one night was all he would have with her, and spent the following months spent locked in tu fira, celebrating every painful, rationed breath as one more chance to glimpse her again.
Even if it were whilst drawing his last.
But when she entered his library, Thane kept his back to her.

Summary
In the aftermath of Shepard's injuries on Vimire, Nihlus makes a series of decisions that land her right back where she started when they met: held in a Cerberus facility. The time taken to resurrect her is much shorter, owing to her alternative death during the Battle of the Citadel and immediate transfer to Lawson's skilled hands.
My favourite battle couple swing back into action playing triple agents, dragging Adrien Victus/other Turians, Aria T’Loak, Sole Survivor and The Hero of Elysium further into the events leading upto news of their return from the dead breaking.
Exploring a darker Shepard who isn't quite as tortured over her return and spends far more time with her creators than we get in game before the Collectors arrive. Follows on from Acta Non Verb in which Cerberus orchestrated Torfan, Azuke and Elysium in order to find a “Champion.”
Covering the time between 1-2.
