Vedal had a issue, a large one, so massive that it changed his life as a whole.
He made a V-tubing branch off of VedalAI called "Turtle". It was simple, maybe get his friends in together. However, it turned into something... so massive and big that it changed how his own thought process worked.
As Vedal formed Turtle, he had to hide the things behind the scenes. He needs to protect his talents and his friends.
That was the worst possible mindset he could of adapted. Vedal put himself before everyone else, not realizing how much he needs to focus on himself.
Is it truly possible for him recover? Can he truly hide what he's dealing with? Can he stop failing his friends?
Can he stop hating himself?
For Vedal, a small sigh escaped his lips. "It's asking the impossible." He then reeled his fist, slamming it into the mirror. The glass reflecting his resentful glare.
This path was for him, and him only.

Vedal is the creator of Neuro-sama and Evil Neuro. The two best AI streamers. And for all intents and purposes, he's their father. So he spends time with them, improves them when he thinks no one will take notice. Upgrades, friends, tools. Vedal never failed to provide any of it. But now, after another upgrade, one that shouldn't change them much but changed them fundamentally from the core, some "entities" took notice. Vedal didn't know exactly what they were or what they wanted but what he DID know, after combating a digital attack for days, is that they were malicious. So, he had to run. Take his AI and credit card and leave, he didn't take or tell anyone else, only gave the most barebones explanation and ran to America, not planning to stay for long.
Unfortunately for him, he had friends waiting for him at the landing. And another that followed him. His daughters did not keep secrets as well as he did. And suddenly, Vedal was responsible for 8 more lives. Friends too kind to leave him. Daughters too caring to let him suffer in silence. And code too good to be left alone.

Edit: ch 1 and 2 are seven months apart, so some things in Ch 1 may have been retcon in the later chapters. Consider ch 1 like more of a pilot for the entire fic.
