“Are you okay?” Nanaki asked, taking a step forward.
Chadley blinked once. He shook his head. “I…apologize. I’m fine.”
Suddenly, Chadley swayed forward, his entire body limp. Cloud rushed forward to catch him before he could fall onto the sand below. “Hey!”

Summary
Cloud Strife has been dead for four years, and life is unbearable without him. Losing a portion of purpose now that his most formidable foe is gone, and with Gaia in a state of eternal unrest, Sephiroth appeals to Professor Hojo. Although not quite altruistic, the proposal from Professor Hojo is intriguing when he clones Cloud Strife, but as a human and android hybrid to be tested as it interacts with Sephiroth.

Summary
Cloud Strife, twenty one, is now on his third attempt at the SOLDIER exam. Or as he likes to call it: his last chance to not disappoint everyone back home.
The problem isn't the fact he works more than sleeps, zipping to the Sector Seven Slums the second he can clock out of his day job, and then right back just to do it again the next day.
No, the reason he's failed the exam twice now definitely has to be something else- probably him. Right?
(And: Reno and co. wonder how someone so pretty can be so godsdamned stupid sometimes.)

Each god of Gaia had a mortal voice. An authority on the planet to speak for the god they served.
The Lifestream clearly knew what it was doing when it picked Cloud Strife to be the envoy to the god of war, Sephiroth.

Summary
After surviving untold iterations of the same handful of years, and armed with the knowledge of countless possible histories only he will remember, Sephiroth has learned how to destroy the White Materia directly, instead of troubling himself with the girl. But the prayers of the faithful are not so easily thwarted, and Holy's backlash damns him to suffer the Planet's fate. In the face of extinction, even predators cooperate, and Aerith cannot turn the Planet's last gift to her people aside. As Meteor's shadow creeps ever closer and Jenova resorts to plans her son has never seen, their impossible alliance will be forced to contend with equally impossible odds.

Summary
The world ended the day The Void was born. Monstrous, relentless, and ever-evolving, these creatures wiped out entire cities, leaving only a scattered, desperate remnant of humanity in their wake.
Cloud Strife should have died with the rest of Nibelheim. Instead, he escaped—scarred, broken, and haunted—alongside his family and a handful of survivors. But salvation comes at a cost. Midgar City, one of humanity’s last great strongholds, is a brutal machine where worth is measured in strength, and the weak are left behind.
Cloud refuses to be weak. He refuses to be just another survivor. Drawn to the legendary General Sephiroth and the Guardian Corps, he enlists, determined to carve a place for himself among the best of the best. But the Voids are changing. Something lurks in the shadows—something Midgar’s rulers don’t want anyone to see.
The war for survival is far from over. And as Cloud delves deeper into the truth behind the Voids, he begins to question whether humanity’s greatest enemy is the one outside the walls… or the one within.
