When Chief opened her eyes, she was laying on her side. The moonlight was brighter than what she’s used to, and it gave her enough to make out the room. She blinked at the wall and noticed the paint was different than what she remembered. Her mind became more alert. Did she go to the wrong room? Chief sat up and tried to get out of bed, but found she wasn’t alone.
