Seymour looks out the window at a noise.
“What’s going on out there?” He asks nervously.
Just as Mr. Mushnik was about to say something, a sudden scream pierced the air. A figure stumbles into view- its face pale, and eyes vacant.
It looked disgusting, half of its skin was yellow. Black and blue veins ran across its neck and down to its arms. It was disgustingly skinny, with teeth sticking each and every way out of its mouth.
It lurches toward a passerby, sinking its teeth into their arm.
Audrey gasps out an “Oh my god!” as Mr. Mushnik mutters under his breath “What in the world…?”
The shop freezes as chaos erupts outside. More figures stagger into view, their movements erratic and violent. A certain few of them had growths coming out of their orifices, plant-like vines and stems breaking out from cracks in their skin, black roots falling from wounds and sores.

A plant zombie virus has infected New York (Skid Row) and it may or may not have been caused by Audrey II... I don't know, I never wrote the cause of the mutation.

“You’re hurt, not delusional.” She says, her tone obviously, yet still surprisingly, unconvinced by his attempt.
