Zeff and Sanji had finally opened their restaurant after months of working. At first, Sanji thought they were going to stay close to the island where they bought the ship but nope. The Old man wanted to navigate in the East Blue saying nonsense about Sanji needing to meet kids around his age.

Law will be a doctor and he's well on his way to fulfilling that oath— it's why he brought Banchina to Dawn. He'll cure her(like no one tried to cure his family, his country, hishome—) and her kid will grow up with his mother. One surgery and she'll be fine with a few weeks of rest and antibiotics.
Usopp is excited for this adventure, because if he's excited, then he's not scared and he can't be scared because he'll be a brave warrior of the sea one day, just like his dad! Except, his dad is here? If he was that close, why hasn't he visited? Didn't he get their letters?
Luffy wishes Torao wasn't doing boring doctor stuff so he could come and play with them, but it's fine, he can just tell him all about the fun adventure up the mountains to catch gators for stew!
Or, new adventures will be had on Dawn, while two Foosha residents travel to the North Blue to pick up Makino's newest little brothers.
(In which Luffy discovers something new and alarming and accidently maybe gets some terrifying pets?)

It's one of those very rare storm days at East blue and the Going Merry hears the long noosed child talk about klabautermann while hiding from the rain.
The Going Merry feels his soul and finds the boy hearing the echoes of the faint sound of it. It's warm, its gentle.
It feels more than enough.
(A diferent world where Usopp and Merry meet earlier and as a result the its Klabautermann is created sooner then it should.)
