“I’ll see you soon, my liege,” Mun Dal says.
Methas’s hackles rise, the intensity of Mun Dal’s stare unexpected and unwelcome, but before he can squeeze down on the hand in his, Mun Dal slips away. Slouched and casual, loping back into the crowd on his own without even a glance behind him.
Methas tucks the paper into his pocket. Whatever it says can wait.

After Ramil got encaged in a picture, Ciar was sad and devastated for losing his favorite big brother and for also not being the chosen one to bring him back to life. At that time, Ciar and Mekhin made a bond with each other which was more than just friendship or a partnership. It was more like a vow to spend an eternity together, to look after each other, and to make each other feel loved. But after Ramil came back to life, somehow, Ciar again started putting all his focus on Ramil and on the Hunter business. All this made Mekhin feel unseen, and he started to feel jealous.

Instead of knocking down the Hunter who was going to shoot Ramil again in his crow form, a pain-delirious Ciar takes the arrow directly to the chest and succumbs to his injuries.
…or does he?
Ciar wakes and finds himself trapped in his crow form, stuck somewhere in a place he doesn’t recognize. Even worse, is that his connection to his Sire and clan is cut off, and Ciar himself is injured and stuck as a helpless baby crow.
He finds himself in the care of a bearable human with delicious-tasting blood, and a cheerful and talkative raven who remembers its previous life as a human.A/N: Not planning to write full story, but chapter snippets :)

Ciar can’t tell what that’s supposed to suggest—surely Ramil isn’t going to watch while Ciar kills his beloved parasite? He can’t actually think Punn will survive Ciar?
If he does, he’s going to be disappointed.
