His relationship filled with misunderstandings with Bakugou who deems him as a Beta since he can not smell his Oemga pheromones due to the inhibitors is on a healing process. When Shouta Aizawa was 20 years old, he got fed up with hero society. Making a stand, he publically denounced hero society and everything it stood for. Along with a few of his closest friends and former pro heroes, he creates a new school, Mirai. Mirai was created to be a place to give back a future to those that had theirs ripped away due to unfair circumstances. No matter how villainous a quirk was deemed, Shouta took the child in.
