Ursa, upon learning about Ozai's plans to steal the throne from Iroh after his son's death, and offering him an alternative route to the throne, leaves the palace, but she doesn't leave alone. If Ozai would even consider killing his son now, then her children definitely aren't safe without her here.

Summary
Five years after the war, everyone is at very different points in their lives. Some were a clear outcome, like Sokka and Suki's engagement. Others were not, like Zuko and Katara's respective breakups. And now they are all in the same room again, a rarity for all of their busy lives.
Katara starts to realize that the fondness she had found for Zuko over the years probably means more to them both than she first thought. After a tense meeting with Aang and drinking more than she's used to, Katara stumbles onto Zuko's ship and doesn't wake up before it disembarks.
Once in Caldera, Katara finds out more what Zuko has been up to, what he's searching for, and what he's willing to pay to get it.
This is the VERY edited, republished version of "How Dragons Fall in Love!" Major changes have occurred, so I do recommend reading!

If she didn't know better she might actually think he was telling the truth.
She stops, turns around, thinks that was probably a bad idea. (he doesn't want to help her, she knows, of course she knows)

"Same as always Zuzu. Even when you're strong, you're weak. "
It comes out as more of a sob than an insult — but she thinks it hurts all the same. She sees his face fall, and the hurt shining through his golden eyes. She would have smiled, but the movement could cause the tears — those obstinate tears — to spill, and she can't risk crying, not now, not in front of Zuko.
She turns around and disappears into the forest, covering her mouth with her hand.
He runs after her.
Zuko chases Azula after she runs away because why not. Also it is raining for the dramatic effect. That's it. That's why it's raining.

After being defeated on the day of Sozin's comet Azula's life had taken a huge turn. Everything she's worked hard to achieve has been for naught, now she has to find out how to live from that point on.
How does someone continue forward when everything you believed in fails you?
In other words: You get to see how Azula deals with her life after losing the throne and the impact it has on her. Plus filling in some gaps as well as giving her a more fulfilling ending to her story arc.
(Also yes the title is modeled after Zuko's Story, I just think it works well.)Series

Things are going well in the Fire Foursome personal lives for their kids are growing up to be fine royals and even finer people but their professional lives have become very hectic as Zuko seeks to reform the Fire Nations’ government in order to prevent the rise of another Sozin and prevent various radical groups from gaining the legitimacy to overthrow the monarchy. But in his efforts to succeed, Zuko not only neglects his girls and kids, but also himself. And with all their previous attempts to make him course correct failing, Azula comes up with a prank that will not only end in pleasure for the Foursome, but hopefully make Zuko realize the error of his current path.

Summary
It is Zuko’s 27th birthday and the two main girls in Zuko’s life, Mai and Ty Lee, want to make sure it is a memorable one. Azula has redeemed herself and has made herself an invaluable asset to Zuko’s regime, as well as an indispensable part of Ty Lee’s and Mai’s professional lives, but Azula is longing for the closeness she once had with her brother and former friends. Mai knows that Zuko has long held feelings for Azula and that the same is true for Azula. So Mai, with Zuko’s and Ty Lee’s blessing, orders Azula to join them in Zuko’s chamber to see if she has really changed….and maybe because Mai and Ty Lee miss having Azula's companionship inside and outside the bedroom.
