Summary
AU reboot of the entire SAO storyline, beginning from the premise that Kayaba Akihiko was obsessed with magic and Norse Mythology rather than swords and pure melee. As a result, he created the Death Game of Alfheim Online rather than the floating castle of Aincrad—a world in which player-killing is not a crime, and the nine player races are in competition with each other to reach the top of the World Tree. Multi-POV epic following the stories of multiple canon characters throughout the game.

Summary
Alternate universe. In this world, there was no Sgrub session, and a few events from the human space age have happened earlier, but these are only minorly related to the plot. After a failed Alternian invasion of Earth, humans managed to turn the tide and end up winning the war, and enslaved the entirety of the Alternian people.
John decides to purchase a troll without being fully aware of the reality of the situation, instead believing much of "common knowledge" instead, and realizes the reality of what humanity has really done and tries his best to cope with a language and cultural barrier and create an environment for his new troll to live in.
Rating and warnings are for later chapters, and are a bit conservative, but I prefer to rate my fics higher if I'm on the fence about a rating or warning.

For some fifty years, the Dominion of the Elves has exerted its influence over the Realms of Man. In the heart of the West, in the realm of the king Aides, is a warrior-prince waiting for one that would not only be worthy of his hand in marriage, but also one that he would be worthy of. Now a grown man with no obstacle to the throne, he hopes that the young man he had met ten years earlier, at the tender age of thirteen, the boy that had promised him the stars, would return someday to make good on that promise.

Summary
The world has ended, destruction come and gone. But that's hardly important now, as what remains of humanity rebuilds. In a new Dark Age, new lands clash against each other in search of a leader capable of bringing them to some sort of enlightenment. Here, in what was once known as Bohemia, our story takes place following the epic rise and fall of the region's greatest future folk hero, Kasya the Brave.
The world has changed, and yet so much remains the same. Here, the future and the past coexist. Only time will tell if Kasya will succeed in bringing the post-apocalyptic world out of the Dark Ages.Series

Complete. Team VILT's story will continue in Before the Whims of Fate
"What if all my talk about my weak Aura is just that—talk—and I really am nothing more than a delinquent lost cause?"
Criminals. Outcasts. Underdogs. Team VILT (Violet) was called all of them, individually. By all rights, they shouldn't have been accepted into Beacon, and some of them shouldn't even be alive. In Ozpin's changed world, four people find their destinies rewritten by the whims of fate. They're each unstable ingredients, crooks and former thieves looking to build a better life. But as they're drafted into a war they weren't prepared for, they learn to put faith in something bigger than themselves.
At the center of it all is Louve Lavender Hyacinth, a wolf faunus with a stunted Aura... and who every night, dreams of a broken world and a strange old man at the center of a story millenia in the making. Every night she lives in the past, and every day she lives in our apocalypse state of mind.
Covers events from the perspective of Team VILT up through the Beacon Initiation.

Summary
Based on DS9's 'The Muse', where Odo and Lwaxana get married to free her from her controlling Tavnian husband.
Tavnians had a very different way of expressing 'love' to the languages Odo knew. His native Bajoran had several words, some ambiguous (one form could refer to a friend just as easily as it could to a sexual partner), others with unmistakeable clarity (the word used to express parental affection for small children, for example, or the form used in love poetry). The Cardassian terms were neatly partitioned, with a simplicity he'd appreciated conducting questionings on Terok Nor: love for Cardassia, love for peers, love for spouse, love for family (younger and older). Federation Standard, for a language that prided itself on clarity, had one maddeningly ambiguous word that could mean damn near anything it wanted to.
Tavnians also only had one word, but it was far more specific. It was only to be used in the 'strong masculine' register, and could refer to any prized possession. That possession sometimes happened to be the speaker's wife.

[THIS INSTANCE OF THE NARRATIVE IS DEAD: I AM SAVING IT HERE AS AN ARCHIVE]
"Knowledge is power," most say, but power corrupts all the same. See, knowledge exists as a pyramid. Very many things know nothing, but only one knows everything. To climb the pyramid isn't difficult, up to some point. The climb can be a taxing thing; the climb can deteriorate the mind and render knowledge worthless. Because, you see, knowledge can't replace everything.
Amelia Wakefield took the climb by personal invitation.
She met every obstacle the universe could come up with, but knowledge is too powerful. Curiosity is too powerful. The New York editor once abducted by aliens now finds herself at the controls. The New York editor once blind of mind now finds herself aware of the many things she can know. Curiosity drove her by the neck, and dragged her like a noose to the very near top of the pyramid.
Curiosity killed the cat, but satisfaction brought her back

A document detailing a conlang I've been working on for a while, which I imagine to be the tongue of the Startouch, also working as a lingua franca across Xadia. The language itself has an agglutinative characteristic and makes heavy use of compounding along with suffixes and preffixes.
