I am totally a fan of this trope. And you made it work so well!
The orange eyes from Noctis. The maelstrom of magic. That, was pretty awesome, and terrifying, to imagine. Out-of-control Crystal magic is something to behold (and fear). Plus, adding the side-effect of visions? Even better.
