Dalien Howlter is emo. He wears band shirts, paints his nails black and he gets mad at his parents. To make shit even worse they are now moving to a nature filled town with snobby rich folks and a big lake in the middle of it all. Fucking hell. His older brother is the golden child, his parents are forgetting him and he has no friends. When it seems as if hope is lost, he finds some other folks. They also wear band shirts, they paint their nails black and they hate their parents. With loads of alcohol, a pack of cigarettes and some friends - Dalien realises that being a teenager doesn't have to suck.

Evan didn't have a voice for singing, but he wanted to sing; didn't play any instruments, but wanted to compose music for all the wonderful, lovely, horrible emotions he suddenly found himself being bombarded with.
