Part of a series. But can be read alone. Faith really starts remember one of the Slayers, Dana, who she helped with identity issues by bringing along Angel, Spike, and Connor. Flashbacks of Angel, Spike, and Connor banter along with Slayer lore. Comics mentioned by reading (them) not required.
Faith struggles to reconcile what became of Connor (and Buffy) 20 years after her last memories as she pretends to be Buffy with amnesia. Faith storms EveryGen Hospital ( with new friend alt-Tara) and demands to know the truth about The "old" Slayers put into comas. She confronts a staff member Rory Gilmore. Meanwhile, Connor fights with The Dream King about why and who has closed-off The Hole in The World trapping a dreaming Other Chosen One & company in it.Series

There she was: Xander Harris, in the horrifyingly present flesh. A little taller, a lot tanner. Down an eye. Smelling like smog and desert winds instead of high school and hormones, but still giving him the exact same look, the one that said she'd seen the best he had to offer, and just wasn't all that impressed.
Rule 63 AU of AtS 5x11, "Damage." When the calls goes out for aid with a rogue Slayer, the Council sends their closest representative. Their closest representative probably would have liked to know about the latest miraculous resurrection sometime before she walked into the lion's den. Wesley would have liked a bit of warning before awkward personal drama started playing out in front of half the bloody company. Angel would have liked to handle things himself, and Spike, well. Spike probably would have liked not to lose his fucking hands.

As everybody else after “Chosen” I was thinking about the spell that activated the Slayers, its possible consequences, and how it will work in the long term. Slowly a theory emerged. It is quite possibly wrong, and I am not sure if it works on all levels, but it works for me on mystical and metaphorical levels. I was trying to tidy it up and make it all clear and comprehensible, but since it took me too long time without much positive result, I decided to post it here for a test drive, and hope for some reasonable suggestions.
