Summary
A year after the end of the war, Dimitri and Felix have settled in as the King of a united Fódlan and his right-hand man. Duty has come first for both of them, even as they've been repairing their relationship, with Felix taking on some of the responsibility of looking after Dimitri, whose psyche remains fragile.
Everything is going very well, until a delegation from the Church comes for a state visit, and seeing Dimitri reunited with their beloved Professor-now-Archbishop pushes Felix into soul-sickness as he is forced to reckon with what he had--Dimitri--and what he's lost--also Dimitri. He's never truly known a world without Dimitri in it. He's always loved Dimitri.
And he will never love another.

Though Dimitri still attended dancing lessons, the other part of a dancer's duties required hands-on training. At least with the help of his classmates, his professor, and whoever said professor had seen fit to loan Dimitri out to, he was improving by the day.
