The mountains loomed like silent sentinels, their slopes shrouded in mist and mystery. He pondered Kattappa’s words, his fingers drumming lightly on the arm of his chair.
"They are a wild card, Kattappa. Fierce, yes, but untamed. Their loyalty is to their own people, their own ways—not to the kingdom. They bow to no king unless it serves their purpose."
"But they are also fierce warriors, Maharaja," Kattappa countered, his tone respectful yet insistent. He took a step closer, his hands unclenching as he gestured toward the north. "I’ve seen them fight—years ago, during the border skirmishes with the hill raiders. They move like shadows, strike like thunder. Their natural agility, their strength—it’s unmatched. With the right incentives, they could be persuaded to join us."
OR Alternate universe where Bhallaladeva and Mahendra Baahubali are not related. Mahendra Baahubali is just Shivudu, who lives in a tribal village and Bhallaladeva is the king of Mahishmati. They meet and sparks fly.

Bhallaladev, the Elder Prince of Mahishmati keeps himself busy with incessant wars in the borders, resulting in several annexations to the Kingdom and remains immersed in statecraft, stewing in his own bitterness. He is less than amused when the court calls upon him, bidding him to act as their bait in this less than appealing alliance.
