Dio licked his thumb before swiping idly at a page in his magazine. Eric winced as the corner wilted under the slight prick of moisture. He made a mental note not to touch the dusty pile of reading materials on the table, no matter how long they kept him here.
“Stole a time machine,” Dio drawled, “and used it to incite a riot in the past, permanently changing the course of history for the worse and sending the earth on an express course to doomsday.” He paused for a moment, eyes darting to meet Eric’s briefly before returning to ogle the centerfold. “…And also felony tax evasion.”

But when Junpei hears of an opportunity to find Akane and possibly earn a good amount of money in the process, he decides to let the Field siblings know of the D-Com experiment. But seeing Junpei reopens some old wounds for Light, but he reluctantly takes Junpei up on his offer.
Things go well for a little while as the group live together in the testing facility, but one day, when they all wake up and are told that they will be in a life or death game and six of them must die, Light and Junpei are forced to confront their emotions towards each other, because they may never get the chance to again.

“I wrote down all the missing keys in every order I can think of,” Phi says, clearly displeased. She brings the paper over to Sigma where they stare at it.
He can barely read his daughter’s handwriting, but eventually he makes out the letters. “I see. Do you think it’s an anagram, then?”
“If it is, it’s a nonsense one,” Phi says, ripping the paper out of his hands before he can take another pass at it. Sigma is sure that his younger self would have snatched it back, but he’s too tired. If Phi wants to glare at a shitty puzzle, so be it.
