Summary
During one of the famous brunch of Olympus, Apollo mention something when talking about that weird medicine field that he says will become very important, the cycle of abuse. Apparently children from abusive households have more risks of becoming abusers themselves (amongst other things Zeus didn't bother to listen about). But it made him think...
Kronos had beaten Ouranos after he mistreated his siblings and neglected him.
Zeus had beaten Kronos after he mistreated his siblings and didn't knew his existence as his mother saved him from being eaten too.
While the king of the gods don't think of himself as mistreating or neglecting his godly children, he did let his daughter be a runaway for a while and then get 'killed' by hellhounds. Though he did change her into a tree instead of letting her die. And the prophecy did say that a demigod child of either him or his brothers would preserve or raze.
Could a child of Zeus beat him after he 'neglected' (though he narrows his eyes at the idea) their siblings in Thalia? -

To preface this is my first published fic. It has been uploaded in its original form before any proof writing or outsider input and editing.
When the god Zagreus was killed their spirit was returned to the world in the mortal who would come to be known as Dionysus. In a twist of fate this mere mortal would one day ascend to the very status of godhood which had been denied to them in a past life. This story is, of course, ancient history. As it now stands, the once fearsome conqueror who brought low the kingdoms of man is more a shadow of their former self than ever. Yet even now that small ember threatens to cause a blaze and burn down all that the gods of Olympus have built.
This legacy is what is given to Perseus Jackson, more his father's son than he knows. In the midst of a conflict which spells the doom of the world as we know it, Perseus must bear the burden of being his father's child, the weight of redemption, and the heavy silence of those long since gone. This story is a retelling of the original Lightning thief book with new characters, new gods, and a refreshing mix of Riordan's original style along with the author's own. Blame anything you don't like on whichever influence you choose, and enjoy. -

Ivy Rae Pavlova just had her life completely changed. She found out she was a demigod. Right after she was attacked by a rampant harpy, she fled from her home in Tennessee with a satyr by the name of Gleeson Hedge. She was continuously attacked by monsters that she thought were just her imagination when being guided to a camp for demigods in Long Island, New York. The one safe haven for demigods called Camp Half-Blood. When she gets there, she's placed in the Hermes cabin for the time being. In the middle of a meal, she's claimed by Mr. D, Camp Half-Blood director. But also the god Dionysus, god of wine, madness, and theatre. She moves into the Dionysus cabin as the only child of Dionysus. Until two more come.
