Summary
The arrangement sounded awful without context, especially since his bed still had silk ropes tied to the posts. It was shockingly reasonable in their situation, though - Oisin needed privacy and time to plan and perform the complex rituals they would need without constantly being under the surveillance of his family, and Mr Stardiamond happened to have asked Aguefort to enchant his house back when he was a good guy.
Time passed differently here, or didn't pass at all. It didn't feel like it did.
