But for a long moment, all she could do was lay there, dazed, as she tried to make sense of her new existence and the near perfect white void that she had awoken to.
A swirling energy ebbed and flowed all around her, entering and leaving this space through invisible means. She held up a hand and wondered at the appendage as she experimentally wiggled her fingers, looking at it from all angles, before paying attention to how the energy flowed around it.

When a young girl finds herself desperate to argue her fate with the King of the Underworld himself, he offers her a deal: She will be reborn in a different world, but she must prove her convictions to alter destiny by saving the life of the one called Hyuuga Neji, whose premature death is set in stone. If she succeeds, she'll be allowed to live her second life to its fullest. But if she fails, she'll die along with him and suffer eternal punishment in the courts of Hell.
Basically, a very self-indulgent SI fic for the boy that deserved SO MUCH MORE.

His prison roommate, the disgraced former celestial general is not concerned however – convinced his mistress will come for him when the time is right.
The ice demon’s optimism pisses off the shadow demon off to no end – but he finds he might need to rely on the other to have a chance to escape. -
