Summary
Two weeks into a killer heatwave, the apartment AC dies, and Nami is one cold shower away from mutiny. Zoro keeps leaving before dawn and stumbling home after dark—new promotion, new responsibility, same stubborn loyalty. When a very not-Zoro super shows up at the bedroom door, embarrassment sparks a phone call full of teasing, jealousy, and “witch/demon” banter. After a long day above a ramen shop (where Luffy brings chaos and Sanji brings iced coffee), Nami returns to find Zoro in steel-toed boots and a tool belt, quietly fixing what the super couldn’t. The unit hums, the air turns cool, and their home turns molten: domestic comedy becomes committed heat as competence, devotion, and a little roleplay energy pull them back to wanting each other out loud. Maintenance is another word for devotion; tonight, it’s sexy.
