As blow after blow rains down upon Phil by his captor, he’s mocked with harsh words sneered at him, the condescending “Does this hurt? My apologies, Your Highness” and the smug "Oh how the mighty have fallen, Your Majesty."
And there's not even any denying it: King Phil has most definitely fallen.
But in the darkest of times, he finds a light to grasp onto, a friend in the form of the piglin hybrid locked in his cell.

Summary
“Thomas hurry up!” Tommy hears his social worker yell, Tommy lets out an annoyed huff as he closes the car door while swinging his backpack over his shoulder, grimacing as he feels his ribs burn with pain at his movements.
Tommy walks inside the house, hitting his shoes against the door mat, snow falling off the shoes before Tommy walks further into the house, making his way to where he can hear two voices in the living room.
“Tommy this is Phil,” Clara states, motioning for Tommy to come closer with her hand. Tommy does as she wants, walking over so that he’s stood next to the woman and looking into the blue wide eyes of the man named Phil.
Phil looks the boy over for a moment, taking in the dark purple over his right eye, followed by the now yellow bruises on the right side of his jaw, along with his split lip.

Summary
Dream claws out of the dirt with a gasp, spinning towards the space where his base was under. It's completely ruined. The animals he had are either blown to bits or charred lumps, and there's a crater where his base is supposed to be. Dream feels...empty.
The base had been safe, it was supposed to be safe, and now it isn't. The smoke clears, and Dream can't help his flinch when he sees Quackity, clad in netherite and (one) eye glinting with triumph. Sam looms behind him, trident planted on the ground, but what really draws his attention is Sapnap, and the enchanted compass he holds.
After every manhunt, the hunters would keep the compass that pointed to Dream. They made a new one each time, for whatever reason. Every hunter has at least one from all the games they've done. It’s clear Sapnap had scrounged up one of his to track Dream down, leading them to his base easily.
Or, the fic where Dream fucks off into the sunset to live a cottagecore arc, gets his base blown up, and races back to civilisation to traumatize a child even more, and then dies (for the plan).

Or: Seven players join their friend on his new server. But as Dream SMP grows and changes, and the original eight dwindles to seven and six, it becomes increasingly clear that the admin called Dream is not the same player who used to play manhunt with his friends. And when things go wrong on a private server, you can't just leave whenever you please.
Perhaps it's a good thing the old Dream never lived to see everything go terribly wrong.

With nowhere else to go and a brutally injured wing that is entirely the fault of negligent management at one of Schlatt's casinos, he takes her under his (metaphorical) wing and lets her stay and work at his main casino the Kumulipo until she can get back on her feet. Both of them are soon to realize though that Ananke is alone for a reason, and Schlatt may have finally met his match.
This story takes place in my own version of Las Nevadas from the DSMP. Schlatt and Quackity are business partners in the dirty Las Nevadas criminal underworld and run a chain of casinos together. There is going to be a lot of hedonistic sex, with obviously only the characters that are of age. It's going to be dark, sexy, and hedonistic. There's going to be a slow start, but once it gets going I promise it'll get going.

Phil couldn’t say he regretted the choice of breaking Dream out of prison per se.
He understood the necessity for it. Techno couldn’t owe the man a favor forever, and, besides, it had been convenient to do while retrieving Ranboo from there. And it wasn’t like they’d known what the man was truly like beforehand, he and Techno genuinely believed he was just some dude with values that somewhat aligned with theirs.
That said, he hadn’t been able to get Tommy’s frightened expression and ragged appearance out of his mind ever since the kid had come running over to his house, begging for Phil's protection from Dream.
Phil still couldn’t comprehend how anyone’s first instinct coming out of prison could be to chase down and scare the crap out of a random teenager he had beef with at some point, but he knew that he couldn’t just leave Tommy to deal with it. Not because he felt any remorse over his actions, just because it wouldn’t be right.
Tommy didn’t deserve to go through that alone.

It had been two weeks since Tommy had escaped Logstedshire. It had been ten days since Techno had found him in the little dirty hole he’d carved for himself underneath the man’s basement and made him an offer he couldn’t refuse. It had been forty-eight hours since he started seeing It.
He couldn’t explain what It was exactly. He didn’t know if It was an entity, a phenomenon, or just his mind playing tricks on him again. It wouldn’t be the first time that he hallucinated. Visions of Tubbo were near constant during the grueling months he was trapped alone on that Prime-forsaken beach.
What he did know, however, was that something wasn’t right.
And he couldn’t even bring it up around Techno because the man just kept giving him those annoyed looks tinged with just enough pity to make Tommy wanna retch. Phil was even worse. When Tommy had brought up his anxieties, the man had just dismissed it as paranoia. “You’re starting to sound like Wil, mate” He’d said, with far more contempt than mentioning the son he killed should have carried.
