Summary
Summary: A band of adventurers find themselves in the middle of a drow raid during their stay in a small village in Icewind Dale. Determined to follow the raiders and free the townspeople they kidnapped, they meet Drizzt Do'Urden and learn that the raiders were actually looking for him. Feeling guilty of circumstantially harming the villagers, Drizzt joins the "Sisters of the Red Moon", and guides them into the Underdark, and unsuspectingly, into his mother's trap. They find an unlikely ally from among the ranks of House Do'Urden, but what price will they have to pay for his loyalty?
Disclaimer: the basic idea of this fic is not mine, it was taken and used with a hefty dose of artistic license from the ancient (I'm talking about "published in 1994" ancient) videogame titled "Menzoberranzan". All rights go to their respective owners, I'm just playing here and snatching "insignifcant and mediocre" side characters. :)
