So the Age of Burning Fields began while a dead hero lay entombed in the Shrine of Resurrection for a hundred years. Meanwhile, across time, previous Heroes are gathering. “Yeah! You know, of being a hero! The things you have to do, the things you can't do. The rules!”Fable, also known as Princess Zelda, is travelling with a bunch of heroes from other eras. They're on a quest to save her brother and nine princesses from the clutches of darkness (quite literally, mind you). But Fable doesn't know much about being a hero. Luckily for her, she has eight heroes to teach her. Unfortunately, heroes give horrendous advice.
Meanwhile, Legend has been kidnapped. As his era's hero, this is something of a new experience for him. How convenient, that he has nine experts to ask for advice, then. After all, who knows more about being kidnapped than the princesses of Hyrule?Series

He intended to just sleep off the concussion at best, or take a potion the next morning when they restocked on them at worse. He probably shouldn't have gone outside where he was easily seen while not at his best and without basically any of his items.

Link, with the reconstruction of Hyrule well underway, finally settles down a bit to rest and recover. He's cleared most of the monsters out now that the blood moons have stopped and he's finished attending diplomatic meeting with his sister Zelda for the time-being. Calamity Ganon is a thing of the past and the Master Sword is recharging, so why is he awakened by the overwhelming pull of the Goddess.
8 travelers (who look an awful lot like him) appear on his doorstep. He only has enough time to leave a note for Zelda before he is pulled on another quest.
