Summary
Our kingdom was created back when time was young, and we became the keepers of it…
Back then, everyone in the kingdom had the power to control time, and since everyone could do so, the rules were respected. But one day a woman, who would later be known as; The “Golden-eyed Demon” killed in the name of time, and broke the one and only rule of the kingdom. A young man; The “Blue-eyed Witch” came to her aide, and defended her actions.
Hundred years has gone by, and the king, Cheng Weimin just welcomed his son, Cheng Xiaoshi to the world, the next royal in line and bearer of the “Diving” ability, the modern term for time traveling. Around the age of 10, however, Cheng Xiaoshi activates his powers, and his eyes turns a mysterious golden and the King calls upon the last known descendant of the Blue-eyed Witch, a mysterious boy called Lu Guang.

“Did you make a wish?” Lu Guang asks.
Cheng Xiaoshi doesn’t blink. “Do people really do that?”
“Sometimes.”
He shrugs, and the candle nearest them flares just slightly, like it knows something.
“I didn’t,” Cheng Xiaoshi says. Then, quieter. “Not out loud.”
Lu Guang watches him. There’s something unspoken in the space between them. A question. A dare.
The candle wavers.
“I wished for something,” Cheng Xiaoshi admits, “that probably won’t come true.”

Day 1 — watch | rain | pet
Cheng Xiaoshi appears in the hall, completely drenched. A hoodie clings to him like it is trying to crawl off his body. His hair is plastered to his forehead, and in his arms, cradled like something sacred and ridiculous, is a sopping orange kitten.
“Don’t be mad,” Cheng Xiaoshi says before Lu Guang can even blink.
“You’re dripping on the floor,” Lu Guang replies, frowning as Cheng Xiaoshi steps further into the sunroom.
A trail of puddles follows him across the tiles, and Lu Guang’s eye twitches just slightly as he watches the water spread.
“Lu Guang.”
“You’re going to flood the tile.”
"Lu Guang~"
“I told you to bring an umbrella.”
“Guang Guang,” Cheng Xiaoshi pleads, lifting the kitten like an offering.

Cheng Xiaoshi had a miserable look on his face, looking like the epitome of utter devastation as he cried, “Lu Guang..!”
“What.” He deadpanned. The other had been watching the spectacle he made.
“Elizabeth doesn’t like me..!”
He couldn’t believe it.
The cat he’d brought in and she liked Lu Guang more than him! He’d even tried doing the things that Lu Guang did only for her to ignore him!! Gahh!
“I’ll never get over it till the day I die,” he swore, “my heart will forever have this crack in the face of such utter rejection! Oh what can I do?”
Lu Guang stared at him.
He gave him sad puppy eyes. “Lu Guang…”

Maybe not everything had to be worth something. Maybe he could try, just for the sake of trying and seeing the result. Making the account felt like a massive chore every step of the way. Maybe because of the weight of it. The profile picture was a one-person photograph Cheng Xiaoshi had taken of him shortly after their first meeting. To this day, it was his favorite — because it also served the purpose of being the first ever photograph Cheng Xiaoshi took of him. It was a picture he had taken without his knowledge, but then immediately showed. It was so he could post it, or something along those lines. Lu Guang had grown rather fond of it. That was also why it was the first picture on the account, seconded by the viral cover. The cover itself had basic hashtags with no other explanation, but the picture had none. In fact, it only had a two-word caption, in an attempt from Lu Guang to honor his professional photographer and the person he couldn’t imagine a life without by this point:
‘Taken by: 🖤’Celebrity Lu Guang is head over heels for his anonymous photographer. None of the fans can find out.

Lu Guang narrowed his eyes slightly as he stared intently at his book. “I’m all ears.” That tone Cheng Xiaoshi was using was the ‘I have a crazy question, please don’t be mad at me’ tone. Lu Guang was very familiar with it.
“I found… something… outside, and I thought ‘wouldn’t it be very nice if we could keep her?’”
Lu Guang raised his head slowly, undecided on whether he wanted to know or not.
Cheng Xiaoshi had a toddler balanced on his hip.

Centuries ago, a new era on earth began with the appearance of many supernatural beings, including spirits, vampires, and werebeasts alike who'd oftentimes prey on humans by fatally sapping their life force from them. Lu Guang is one of these creatures, an ancient vampire known as his superstitious title 'the White Terror,' who personally wants nothing more than to be left alone, be far away from humans, and stay locked up in his mansion hidden somewhere on his vast forest property. His ideal days consist of napping six out of seven days of the week, and taking long hunting trips with his adopted-daughter/vassal Elizabeth, a young werebeast under his care among others.
Cheng Xiaoshi, a mysterious priest and slayer-in-training, has other plans.

Their dear cat-daughter, Elizabeth (Xiaoshi was still bitter about the picked name) was settling comfortably in their lives in their warm studio. They took turns in feeding her and cleaning her litter box, grooming out her fur, and giving her plenty of catnip-based toys to entertain her. As much as Lu Guang and Cheng Xiaoshi enjoy having her around, they have their own needs too, and if there is one thing that cats and dogs and children have in common, it’s always being a cockblock.
