Summary
Ever since the events that might as well have led to the end of the world– Er, twice actually, there’d been some sort of vendetta against Night Raven College.
An increased fear against mages in general due to the power they wielded– It certainly wasn’t helped much by the many overblots that had been covered up by the school, which had been revealed to the public.
If you didn’t count the Shroud siblings nearly unleashing Phantoms to wreak havoc on the world, then you’d definitely at least have to count Malleus Draconia, overblotting and creating a large field that put everyone to sleep.
Unfortunately considering the people high up who had to get involved to get people to evacuate and monitor the very risky situation… Yeah it wasn’t like they could just sweep it under the rug.
It's been 4 years since then. Night Raven College still existed, albeit facing a large amount of criticism. Whether it was for failing to take care of its students to where several faced experiences where by all accounts should have died, whether it was for raising delinquents and monsters to later unleash upon the world.

Preparations must be made, but what the hell does Crowley mean by a new faculty member? Who the hell mentions that sort of thing as a side note?? And why do they look so familiar to our lazy lion prince?...
I've adjusted the official English localisation to properly reflect the Japanese dialogue as much as possible with reference to Otome Ayui on YouTube, Ryota's Musings' fan translations and based on my own understanding of Japanese.

Overblot takes a toll on everyone so in order to heal Night Raven's infamous overblots plus a few others are sent to Featherfall, a rehab center for overblotted children and teens. The boys meet a group of girls from some different magic academies. Read as the boys heal and mayhaps fall for their friends some old and new.
There are a lot of oc's in this fic and when they're introduced I'll put a description in the notes. This fic is a lot more trauma heavy than my other one but I like the prompt of the bois going to rehab and meeting people with a lot more issues and healing with those people and falling in love with them. This is just a long way of saying that if you're triggered by any of the tags don't force yourself to read it. I wanted to write something a lot more angsty with a happy ending so this is it.

Then he twists the metal tap. It is so quiet he can hear the water stream through the rusted pipes. Water rushes out of the tap. He cups his palms together, forming a little bowl. Cold liquid pools into his tiny bowl. It overflows, spills through the gaps between his fingers. Distantly, he watches the water go down. He almost mistakes it for blood. Very very thin blood….Great Seven he feels like a criminal. Here he was, anxious if ever someone were to burst in and see him in such a pathetic state. No one found shelter in the darkness besides the guilty and aching-both of which Vil was. What he was guilty for…he himself did not know, but others knew. The brand of a villain. It wasn’t as if he acted like a villain, but he had the brand of one itched to his skin, like a cattle animal. And the mere brand of it was enough to make him guilty…At least in the eyes of the audience. It was this brand that earned him so much of unwarranted hate. When he was younger, he had the brand of being different. In the eyes of society, those two brands were synonymous.
