Summary
The year is 996 AN, and it has been five years since the Battle of Piltover. As reparations between Piltover and Zaun began in earnest, it wasn’t just the hope of the Arcane Herald’s salvation that seemed to linger. Despite decommissioning and cleaning the Hex Anomaly, the infestation ran deeper than anyone realised.
Ekko’s mission with the Firelights remains - fight for the forgotten people of Zaun, and challenge those who would exploit them. Just now he has friends in high places: Sevika, miraculously, remains on the council, her position vital with the new generation of Chembarons that have emerged; Vi might be on the peanut patrol again but this time, she works with Little Man to help Zaun however she can, as a bridge between both sides; along with the Sheriff of Piltover, Caitlyn Kiramman who is working on a case of uncovering Noxian spies and the rumors of what seems to be emerging, alive, from deep within the fissures.
Their worlds have changed drastically, even new stars appeared in the sky after that fateful day but as the first domino to fall for what’s to come to all of Runeterra, on the horizon, a certain blue haired girl with her own fuzzball in tow returns home.
