    Ganon has been defeated. Slain by the Master Sword, his reign ended and Hyrule could be magically restored to what the Kingdom once was. But not entirely as it once was.

    Rather than return and reseal the Triforce, Link took it for himself and used the power to become the new King of Hyrule, taking the kingdom by force and with it, the Princess. Now he rules as Hyrule's Dark King and keeps Zelda as his entertainment, bound to his every cruel whim. But even as his power over her is absolute, Zelda resolves to never let him break her spirit!

Rhett does so haltingly, fury in his eyes, until he meets the gaze of his captor. Until now his eyes have been completely and creepily in the shadows, but at this angle Rhett can really see them. They’re startlingly blue and edging on humane, but there’s a tinge of crazy in them that makes Rhett’s skin crawl.

    Zelda is the young princess of Hyrule, fed up with her dull diplomatic life, longing to explore the wilderness and research to her heart's content. She is overjoyed when her father sends her on a journey to recruit pilots for the recently unearthed divine beasts. The only downside is her silent escort.

    Link is the wielder of the Sword that Seals the Darkness, however, he is also the son of the leader of the Yiga Clan, Master Sooga. His loyalties lie with his father as he infiltrates the royal family of Hyrule from the inside with the help of the respect the sword he carries comes with. His ways of thinking are challenged when he is faced with the job of becoming the princess’s own appointed knight. As his dad always said, ‘keep your friends close, but your enemies even closer.’

    Together, they journey across Hyrule, learning new things about one another each day. This is a story of hunger and devotion. Of wandering looks and inner turmoil. Enjoy!

      Minish Cap roleswap, GO! Link is an eight year old kid who naively pulled the Picori Blade from the Bound Chest when playing with Zelda in Hyrule Castle. The sword is not inherently evil but it was keeping monsters sealed for over a hundred years, so it's a bit ... warped? Link believes that Vaati is the source of the evil plaguing Hyrule and so sets out to retrieve the Earth Element alongside Ezlo. The former Picori was supposedly cursed into becoming a cap by Vaati, but I don't fully believe that.
      Vaati is on a quest to meet with the King of Hyrule and eliminate the monsters! But how will this young little wind mage even get there? Guess we'll find out in the next update! :D

      I've read through chapter 7, waiting on chapter 8.

    They had a plan. Awaken Divine Beasts. Take control of all the old Sheikah Tech. Train and train until Ganon arrived, at which point they would stop him. The plan failed. Mipha fell first, ice crawling through her veins. Then Daruk, melting in the heat that first caused his blood to boil. Urbosa was next, falling when the electricity became to much, but still fighting and piloting her corpse for about a month before it rotted away. Revali fell last, soon after Urbosa's true death, the air ripped out of his lungs, and his blessing bestowed upon an old friend. They say that Link fell next, then was Zelda's eternal sacrifice. Except, the thing is, Link fell first, but not from life, instead from grace.

    When Ganondorf, Prince of the Gerudo was born, he was the twin brother of Lady Riju. However, he was younger, and Riju was the Gerudo Chief, with her brother as her right hand man. While his sister has Urbosa's power over lightning, he had the ability to learn new spells, as well as his control over the sands and earth. During BotW, he was studying under an old acquaintance of his mother. Now, in the aftermath of TotK, he has returned. The Master Sword is stronger than ever before, Zelda is Queen, and Link has begun to take on a new career, dedicating his life to studying the Calamity and the past and the Depths and the Sky Islands. But now, things are changing, and corruption is returning to the world, but Ganondorf isn't the cause, and there's a voice out there that seems to be calling him.

    Or Link accidentally touches an ancient artifact that forces his body to be the the vessel for the Demon Calamity, the son of the Demon King Demise, and everything goes to shit. Don't worry though, Hylia made Link and Ganondorf swap Triforce pieces, so everything's fine, not that many people will die lol.
