Mu Qing felt a little furious for suddenly surprising him but then calmed himself down before preparing for a reply. “It’s childish.”
The barista laughed softly, ruffling Mu Qing’s hair again with a smile, “I think it’s not. Someone I used to know loved watching that show, his favorite was Gumball.” The response made Mu Qing look at Feng Xin, he was holding onto his chair and gulped down, he could see the veins at the back of his hand.
“What a coincidence…” He trailed off, looking back at the show being put on his laptop’s screen. “He’s my favorite too.” Mu Qing smiled softly and then he scooted his chair over, it made Feng Xin look down on him curiously. “Sorry.” Mu Qing muttered.
Feng Xin smiled again, he grabbed a spare chair nearby and sat down near him, “It’s fine, there’s not much of a customer today anyway, I could spend some extra time.”
