Henry swiftly smashed his elbow through the display case, the glass shattering and falling to the floor in bits. He pushed aside the stinging sensation in his skin as the glass scraped him, the cool feeling of blood trickling down. He snatched the gem and bolted. Lasers sparked in the air behind him. Drones unleashed stun blasts that barely missed his heels. The wolf’s claws scraped against the metal flooring as it trailed after him, leaving faint marks. Henry jumped over a crate, spun in the air, and landed in a roll. The wolf barreled straight into the crate and incapacitated itself. He continued forward, not sparing a glance back. He skidded past the villain’s break room. He stopped dead in his tracks. There it was. A coffee machine. Stainless steel gleaming under flickering emergency lights. Its touch panel lit with options: espresso, cappuccino, macchiato, maybe even enlightenment.

Henry is tasked with infiltrating a high-tech villain's lair to retrieve a priceless artifact. He accidentally activates a self-destruct sequence but somehow manages to escape with the artifact and the villain's coffee machine

Summary
After an unknown virus ravages through livestock, produce, pets, and eventually ponies, what is left? There's no food, there's no resources, there's nothing. Except, for Sugarcube Inc. The last consistent food source left.
We start with a scene from the future, and then we go back and work through what happened, how this came to be, why Pinkie pie is so evil. There's scandals, love triangles, jealousy, gore, violence, and an infection purely for plot convenience. This story was and is inspired by a lot of songs, and I will be working on it as I go, so not everything is worked out yet, but I hope it comes out okay.
I am bad at writing summaries, but don't let that deter you! The story is building very slowly, and I hope my writing makes up for my terrible tagging and terrible summary!
