Thinking about it, Baku has always associated Gotak with good food(Pablo’s effect, was it called? The one where the dog hears the bell and rushes to its bowl). In accordance, he also thinks of warm, fuzzy feelings when he sees Gogo. The ones that arise when he sleeps over at Gotak’s and wakes up to rich miyeok-guk caressing his gullet, tender shrimp bursting with hot broth under eager teeth- not to mention Gotak’s mother’s loving smile, making up for his younger years spent without. Eat up, Humin-ah. You’ve had a rough day, right? And he never says yes, but digs in all the same.

A (WIP) multi-part angst fic about Castorice, inspired by Nabokov's lepidoptery, Eros and Psyche, & the Butterfly Lovers Liangzhu. Castorice is the infinitely distant, transient but eternal, perhaps unattainable target of Stelle's affection. In Greek, the word Psyche meant both "departed spirit, ghost" (LSJ) as well as "butterfly, moth" (LSJ). This work should be soundtracked perhaps by Debussy's Les Papillons or Schumann's Papillons op 2. Also consider He Zhanhao & Chen Gang's Butterfly Lovers (Liangzhu) Violin Concerto. I like butterflies a Very Normal Amount. Yes I know my Stelle is very out of character, it is what it is.

1. In my stories I have Luke in mind the way he looked in the first or second SW movie. Mando looks like in the first or second season of his tv show (when he showed his face).
2. Since the Armorer called Mando’s child “Din Grogu”, I conclude that Din is Mando’s last name, which is why in my stories he is called Djarin. (Also, I like the sound of that name. 😉) In my modern AU’s his last name is Vetina, since his home place was Aq Vetina. -
