Summary
This fan-fiction is an attempt fill the gaps in the chapter ‘The Steward and the King’ in The Return of the King. It’s best described as “canon compliant”. It’s a joint creation by @what_katy_did_1234 and another Tolkien tragic friend (both lawyers). It starts with Faramir asking Merry about Éowyn…
So many questions are raised by the gaps in the narrative. We’ve tried to deal with various questions, including what Éomer thought when he discovered his sister was suddenly engaged to marry Faramir, how people reacted to the various changes in organisation and society, why Éowyn suddenly goes back to Rohan before the troth-plight ceremony… Warning: there’s quite a lot. Summary
Cirion of Emyn Arnen is having an excellent time in Rohan, and most particularly, he’s really enjoying the company of the women of Rohan. However, he hadn’t quite banked on the political complications this would create, and he’s dismayed when he’s recalled back to Minas Tirith by his mother and father. There’s a lot going on: his mother Éowyn is unexpectedly bearing twins, his father Faramir is insanely busy, and his younger sisters want to know exactly what Cirion’s done to fall into disgrace.
[I am now going methodically through my many folders trying to find fan fiction I missed. Evidently enough, I am up to “C” for Cirion.]

Summary
Aldarion of Arnor, the Steward of Arnor’s only surviving son, marries Finduilas of Emyn Arnen, the daughter of the Steward of Gondor. Everyone is surprised to see how severe and stern Aldarion’s new bride is, but strangely, Aldarion seems a lot happier than he has been in a long while…
Of course, the hobbits have to come for a visit.

Note, most of Denethor’s grandchildren are scarred by his behaviour in one way or another. But poor Finn has it worse than the others, because she looks like Denethor.

Finduilas of Emyn Arnen has lived in Arnor for a long time. It’s strange to come home, to her crazy family, and all their dramas.
Her second youngest sister, Morwen, is very stressed about her wedding, which she’s determined will be the most spectacular of the Fourth Age. Meanwhile, Idis and Ecthelion are fighting. Finduilas comes up with a novel way to stop Ecthelion being a pain.
