Summary
Arahaelon of Anorien, second son of Halmir of Anorien, is dismayed when his father is determined to set him up with Finduilas of Emyn Arnen, the Steward of Gondor’s eldest daughter. There are reasons why this is not a good idea, but he doesn’t particularly want to discuss them with his father. However, when he falls in love with someone entirely unsuitable, he finds that Finduilas is much better company than he thought.
