Summary
At the end of season 13, Logan Horseman is traded to the Crabs. Mike Townsend is still shadowed, and having personal problems in Seattle. This brings both of them to Baltimore for Season 14, where they decide to become unlikely roommates in a Baltimore fraternity house. Between parties, Blaseball games, and getting swept away by immateria, their friendship grows, as does Logan's relationship to the Crabs. Logan helps the Crabs open up and learn to party for the first time since the Return of Blaseball, as well as talk through how to honor someone's memory without letting your own happiness come to a halt.
This fic is for baliset as part of the Baltimore Crabs fic exchange.

Brock Forbes does not react well to Ascension and his team is here to make sure he doesn’t do anything drastic, but only sort-of succeeds. The rest of the team work out what just happened and what Ascension means for them.
Not a Crabs fan? Don’t worry I’ve included some notes at the start of each chapter to get you up to speed on any relevant lore pieces.
UPDATE 12/29: New title and tags to reflect the rest of the fic as I've expanded this story to include the rest of the team roster.

Summary
Valentine Games is experiencing the strangeness that is both California winter (or lack thereof) and his first holiday season without the Crabs. Val doesn't care for Chrlistmas either way, but something about this year is making him thinking about holidays spent with the Crabs, in particular a very chaotic Chrlistmas that involved handling a very persistent and concerned Ollie.

Summary
“You can’t just hit someone with a pitch because you’re mad.” Mike says it gently, like he’s not sure Derrick is aware. Or maybe like he doesn’t want to bring it up in the first place.
“There’s nothing in the Book that says I can’t,” Derrick points out, maybe a little too defensive. He runs his free hand through his hair, and lets out a long exhale. “I dunno. I guess I got up there, and I just realized - nobody cares, you know. That I’m back. None of them remember me. The big players, like Boyfriend, they look right through me. So does the band.” He pauses. “They kind of did the same thing to you. When you were pitching, I mean.”
Mike sets his mug down on the coffee table, and frowns. “Kind of.”
“Didn’t it ever make you mad?”
(an alternate reality, a fragmentary dream.)

Summary
Nagomi McDaniel is not only a figurative titan of blaseball; she is also six feet three inches tall. Bigger, too, from the bulk of her chitinous left arm. The crab legs bursting from her back. In the photos they had shown Luis she had a lion's mane of curly red hair, long and flowing. After emerging from her shell, it has been cut short. She is not dressed yet, wearing a button down shirt and-- joggers? they're called?-- one sleeve rolled up to reveal her impressive forearm. A crow sits on her shoulder, disapproving.
She also very rarely speaks. That she has done so would indicate extreme displeasure.
Luis scrambles to one side.

Summary
The idea of this fic-in-verse was to tell a story of Blaseball but ignoring most popular fan-lore. The only sources used were Blaseball dot Com, SIBRs Reblase for reference and the Blaseball Beat.
Using the Beat meant some interpretations of teams line up in part with popular conceptions but with an attempt to shift in a different directions (The Garages are the main ones who come to mind here).
This attempts to maintain the spirit of Blaseball as an absurd sports horror game.
Many of the teams are portrayed as monstrous (the Pies as zombies risen from people baked into Pies and the Tigers as literal demons come to mind) - none of that is intended as a slight on fans.
In the same vein interpretations of events like the Wyatt Massoning and feedback perhaps skew more horror based than a lot of the interpretations we've seen; this isn't attempting to argue any of those interpretations are wrong, it's merely exploring a different avenue. We are all love Blaseball.
