**MAJOR STORY SPOILERS FOR THE BEAST**
Kyle knew the pain Aiden had gone through, he knew just how hard it had been losing Spike and having to live as The Beast for weeks until they were able to rescue him.
Now, the Baron's dead, and they all have a moment to take a collective breath and start looking ahead.
It starts with a conversation, learning about each other and learning how similar their stories are. Kyle sees himself in Aiden, and Aiden can see what he may develop into in time.

Summary
After the events in X13, Lawan and Hakon have stopped the missile strikes, and Aiden has finally found Mia, only to have to put her to rest a few hours later. After the events of the main campaign, Aiden sets out to leave the city of Villedor with Lawan. However, after being left with a letter, he wakes up alone, only to return to the city. Frank is in charge of things in the center with a peaceful allegiance to the Colonel and whatever Peacekeepers are left under the jurisdiction of Juan Rainer.
Aiden is an enemy in the eyes of the newly-elected leader of the Nightrunners, and he has to find his own way within Villedor. He joins the Renegades and his skills as both a former Pilgrim and a man on the brink of turning into a volatile are put to the test. Will Colonel Williams, his daughter, and those around him prove to be helpful in his search for a purpose? Or will Aiden end up hurting everyone around him, only to be left alone once again? -

In attempts to live their life to it's fullest and honor the memory of the people they've lost they find comfort in people they never knew were capable. But in doing so they continue this path of sorrow leading them into the lair of a GRE scientist. Does he love them? Do they love him? Who knows...
This story is going to be lots of smut with a plot that explores the limits of human connection in a cruel ass world. It is canon adjacent, following the story of my Dying Light 2 OC, Blake, a nonbinary survivor. Blake's story follows a different, but somewhat parallel story to Aiden's as they are not meant to replace him. They both exist in this version of the world at the same time, but do not share the exact same story. Lots of NPCs will make a appearance along with OCs.
