Killer had his babybones, Crescent, very recently. This seemed to have just amplified his own selves instincts up to 100.
But,when Dream eats a negative apple,band becomes shattered..
Nightmare had changed too..
Passive didn't remember him. Passive was never him.
He attempts to join shattered, to keep his child safe. But shattered didn't want to risk killer's life.
So he advised killer to leave this multiverse, and find a safer one. For his and his child's sake.
He travels and finds many, many multiverses that wouldn't take him..or his child.
But, when he accidentally falls into a portal, leading to a nightmare variants home...
Will he find himself a home there?
Or will he and his child have to keep looking?

Rurik is tired of these cycles. He is tired of Fink's neglect and makes the choice to run away from home once and for all. In his rush to escape his neglectful father, he finds himself accidentally transported to a different Multiverse altogether. Unbeknownst to him, his other father, Dream, could finally reach him now that he was back in his domain, hoping to bring Rurik to a safer new reality under his care. Only downside? Rurik is angry. Very. Fucking. Angry.
TLDR: Dream tried to give Rurik a new happier life away from his abusive father Fink.

There was supposed to be peace after the X event.
Not chaos.After discovering Dream’s secret, Lux forms a cult, recruiting multiverse children who have suffered in their home worlds. Just like her. She leeches off their negativity to unleash a secret revenge upon her father and Ink. Somehow Gradient is wrapped up in Lux’s psychotic thirst for justice.
Meanwhile, PJ escapes the Antivoid and Error’s abuse, only to find himself wrapped around Lux’s finger, exchanging his partnership for Gradient's release.
Cross and Dream search for their lost children, testing their "perfect" relationship as they travel to into the multiverse’s most tortured worlds.
Behind the curtains, there is a much larger force brewing inside a bitter remote world. A force that will reshape the multiverse as all know it and those protecting it. A now heartbroken Dream must finally confront his guilty past to preserve a peaceful future, helping the multiverse’s children step up to an impending doom that makes the X event look insignificant.

"Goth, I've thought about it, and I think we're at the age that's capable of making our own decisions. So we shouldn't worry about the consequences that try to block our path. We're old enough to decide on our own."
Goth's face turned a little purple at the sudden contact. He felt a little giddy as adrenaline rushed through him. "Umm... I-I don't know...."
Palette's expressions only turned more determined even at his reactions. "Come on, I know you want it. We both do."
Goth could only agree at that. To be honest, he did want to give it a try. He was only afraid of what his parents would do to him if he made that decision. He inhaled deeply, finally making his last choice.
