Jinu was never a good person. All his actions were driven by the intrinsically selfish desire to live. To live better than anyone else. And for far too long he has lived in hell with the consequences of giving up his very humanity to reach this goal. Tired of his memories working against him, Jinu gives everything one last chance in the most absurd but sure way he can think of: by becoming an idol. He and his boyband group of demon friends perform and plot as they aim to be idol of the year and gather hundreds of thousands of souls all for the chance to be granted one wish. But what Jinu never expected was for this journey of ultimate betrayal to society to show him more humanity, hope, and love than he had ever seen before. But he has to reject all of it. His life is on the line now.

Listen, I love KPop demon hunters. I really, really do. But oh my god I need answers, and if I don't have any I will make them up myself. There is way too much left up to the imagination. How did a demon hunter fall in love with a demon and give birth to a half demon child? What happened to Rumi's mother? Is Rumi's dad still around?
There's only a bit of content for the amount of lore that could go into a world like that and the creators frankly didn't take advantage of it. So. I need. To write. This fic. For my sanity. Y'all understand how it goes.
