The very first of a long series of Camp Evergreen summer-camp mysteries for my several generations of Snoops, The Ghost of Camp Evergreen sees our Snoops venture into the unknown territory of a summer camp; after making a very big sleuthing mistake, Tricia and her friends are sentenced by their gym teacher Ms. Shivski to serve as junior counselors at Camp Evergreen, where she is girls' camp director. And leave it to our Snoops, even amid all the usual distractions of a summer camp, to discover a potentially deadly mystery! In this case, not just deadly for them, but for everyone!
And this story introduces two of my most important Snoop characters in later stories. Abbie Faith Burnette Dwight has already been mentioned in connection to Abby Dwight's abduction by serial killer John Michael Walton (later memorialized in Little Girls Lost); this is when we first meet the little girl who will become Samurai-chan in the later Snoop and Darius Allen Detective Club stories, along with the girl who will become her best friend ever, one Serenity Mabrey, a slim, athletic, fractious, brilliant girl with a long and profound future in my Snoop world. Also, a bright little Egyptian-English girl named Aisha who figures large.

Intrigue swirls around a new sorority pledge as her father stands a chance to be nominated to the Supreme Court, intrigue fascinating and close enough to draw even the skeptical Dwight eldest child Abigail into the circle of Snoops! Will college-sorority intrigue mixed with high politics be the undoing of the Snoops?
The Gamma Kappa Epsilon sorority is another vestige of the ancient Abductor.com days, and the source for Abigail Dwight, the eldest Dwight daughter. If I can find these old, very NSFW stories in the wayback machine, they might become their own series. It is, to say the least, a unique sorority.

Their discoveries about Project Wells soon lead them into a whole new world, with danger still chasing them! Can they save themselves not only from the bad guys, but from the startling effects of Project Wells? Read and enjoy!
Yes, some of the contemporary references rather date this work, but this is where Trish and Hannah came from!

Snowden State University's new criminal forensic sciences department is enlarged by two gifted new professors. Dr. Jennifer "Calico" McNeil, one-time girl detective stepping back from a tragic past, is the new department head. Former SFPD detective Tony O'Hara--who gets a mention in the old Secret Weapon story--also arrives, bringing with him a teen daughter who startles Trish Dwight and Hannah Watson--those veterans of the Wells Machine in The Secret Weapon--by her similarity to an old friend from a previous life. But other forces from that previous life also appear, which threatens the new professors and the new friends!
Jennifer McNeil is not my own creation, but that of a friend in the old Girl Detectives in Trouble site, old friend SCelli, who has been so gracious as to allow me to borrow the grown-woman version of his girl detective Calico McNeil. Many thanks to him, even all these years later.
