    Summary

Ross is a burned-out professor of English at a prestigious New England college, and he’s carrying a lot of baggage from his past. As the school year begins, an encounter with an exceptional young woman, also his student, will turn his world upside down and introduce a whole new set of challenges. Can these two get out of their own way in order to make—and maintain—a real connection? A modern, loose retelling of the Poldark romance, featuring many of our favorite folks from the books, and a few original characters, too.

    Summary

Perhaps if Ross had not returned from the war, if he had sunk as most had wanted him to in the stormy sea, perhaps then, he would've died at peace.

Nampara in ruins, his father dead, debt on his doorstep and his beloved wed to his cousin, Ross Poldark has developed the worst luck in all of Cornwall. When his life comes apart further and an illegal trade goes wrong, he faces the gallows. The only person able to save his life, is the very man who got him into this predicament, George Warleggan.

However, when the devil offers a deal, there is always a price.

OR: A retelling of the story of Ross Poldark, where I get to punish people who I think got off too lightly in the show and Ross embraces his darker side. Oh, and Ross x George, because who doesn't see the sexual tension????

    Summary

After World War I and, before that, more than a decade in America, Ross Poldark returns to Cornwall with a secret child and the hopes of providing his daughter with a home and a family. Both, however, are in disarray. Others have ideas on how he should go about securing his future and protecting the Poldark name, but Ross has never been one for convention... or for doing what's expected of him. And, apparently, neither is his three year old daughter, Julia.
